About Us

Puliyappatta Ayurveda

For over 250 years, Puliyappatta Ayurveda has stood as a trusted name in traditional Ayurvedic eye care and natural wellness. Rooted in generations of healing wisdom, our legacy began with a deep commitment to preserving the principles of classical Ayurveda while serving communities with compassion, integrity, and care. Through every generation, the heritage of healing has been carefully preserved and passed forward. Today, under the leadership of Dr. Niveditha Puliyappatta (BAMS), we continue this timeless tradition with a modern vision — bringing together authentic Ayurvedic wisdom and thoughtfully crafted wellness products for today’s lifestyle. At PuliyappattaAyurveda, we believe true beauty and wellness begin with nature. Every formulation is inspired by traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and crafted with carefully selected herbal ingredients to support holistic care for the eyes, skin, lips, hair, and overall well-being. Our mission is not only to create natural products, but also to preserve a living heritage built on trust, healing, and generations of experience. From traditional eye care therapies to herbal beauty and wellness formulations, PuliyappattaAyurveda remains devoted to nurturing wellness the Ayurvedic way — naturally, authentically, and with care passed down through centuries.

A glorious history

Rooted in Royal

The PuliyappattaTharavadu (ancestral family), a prominent presence in the field of traditional eye care, has a glorious history of over 250 years to recount. Among the many stories that reflect the rich heritage is the honour bestowed upon them by the Zamorin royal family. It is said that after successfully treating a chronic illness at the Zamorin palace using traditional Dravidian Ayurvedic methods, the family was recognized as the royal eye physicians and rewarded with silk garments, ceremonial bangles, and land grants (Pattum, Valayum, Kudiyirupp Bhoomiyum). Another remarkable chapter in their history is the establishment of the Pallipuram Railway Station by the British, built in close proximity to the family estate in recognition of their prominence
